Libya deposited on June 15, 2005, its instrument of accession to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), which will enter into force on September 15, 2005. The PCT simplifies and reduces the cost of obtaining international patent protection and facilitates public access to a wealth of technical information relating to inventions.
