Patent annuities in Saudi Arabia are due at the beginning of each year (January 1st) following the year in which the application was filed. The payment of annuity fees (without late payment fine) must be effected within a period of three months ending March 31st of each year. A grace period of three months ending June 30th is possible with payment of late fine. Pursuant to the above, annuities of all pending patent applications will be due for payment on 1 January 2005 through 31 March 2005 except for previous years which will not be paid.
