Requirements
BULGARIAN PATENT APPLICATIONS (INVENTIONS AND UTILITY MODELS)
Documents or information:
1 The name and the address of the applicant/applicants.
2 The name and the address of the inventor/inventors.
3 Specification and drawings in any language (by e-mail).
4 Claims and abstract in any language (by e-mail).
5 Translation of the specification, drawings, claims and abstract into Bulgarian.
6 Convention priority - 12 months; state, date and number of the previous application.
7 Priority document - Certificate issued by the relevant Patent Office (by post).
8 Translation of the priority document - only if the Bulgarian Patent Office requires the applicant to submit it.
9 Power of attorney <POWER OF ATTORNEY.doc> - must be sealed and signed by the applicant (only the English text); you have to provide the name of the signatory and his position in the company (by post, fax or e-mail).
10 CHARGES: 1. Filing fee. 2. Examination fee. 3. Priority fee (if claimed priority). 4. Publication fee. 5. Translation fee for specification, claims, abstract and drawings.
1. An order letter, containing information for:
1 Applicant's name, citizenship and address/domicile
2 Inventor's name, citizenship and address/domicile
3 Conventional priority data (if any)
1. Description of the utility model
2. Drawings and other illustrative materials
3. Abstract
4. Certified copy of the priority application, filed in a member state of the Paris Convention (if any priority claimed)
5. In case of national phase of an PCT application
1 Copy of title page of the PCT publication
2 Copy of search report
3 Copy of report for preliminary international examination
1. Signed and sealed form of power of attorney
