Summary

1- The registration is valid for 10 years as for the renewals. The first renewals will take place in June 2006.

Usually, we get the registration certificate in the month of the application.

We can file word trademark, device or logo in black and white or in color and three-dimensional trademark.

Multi class filing is available. Priority rights can be claimed on the grounds of the first registration in the 6 months of this one if there is reciprocity between the country of the first registration and Andorra.

To claim priority rights, we need a simple copy or photocopy of the first registration.

4- The Andorran trademark office (OMPA) only accepts the products and services as exactly wording as in the Nice classification 8th edition. All other product or service must first be classified by the OMPA itself at the price of 3,20 euros/each word.

Requirements

1- To file a trademark, we need the all data of the trademark's owner - if it's a society, its legal form- the trademark and the products and/or services.

2- Claimed and a power of attorney signed by or in the name of the owner.
